About Optomed

Care that reaches further.

Optomed is a nonprofit network bringing specialist eye care, cataract treatment, education, technology, and practical community support to people where treatment is hardest to reach. We work with local teams and committed partners to restore sight and create more sustainable futures.

A network of care

More than a clinic. A shared commitment.

Optomed is a nonprofit network of like-minded professionals. People work independently in their fields, then come together to support communities through medical care, education, technical support, financial support, and practical sustainability.

Our work reaches Tanzania, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and other remote communities—where trusted relationships and local understanding help care travel further.

Education & opportunity

A future that reaches beyond treatment.

Optomed supports the Sadiqabad primary school project, the Faisalabad madrassah, and women’s vocational education—helping learning, skills, and confidence grow together.

Medical access

Care that stays close.

Four free medical dispensaries in Pakistan extend practical support to people who live far from regular healthcare facilities.

Community support

Standing alongside families.

Education and food support for deserving children in Sindh sit alongside Optomed’s clinical work and outreach.

Where support takes shape

Building practical routes to a stronger future.

Alongside eye care, Optomed supports the Sadiqabad primary school project, Faisalabad madrassah and women’s vocational education, four free medical dispensaries in Pakistan, and education and food support for deserving children in Sindh.
